Hardly, look at Liverpool - Robinson, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lallana etc - all signed from mid to lower table clubs and improved immensely under Klopp - who's the last player who enhanced his reputation after joining us, De Gea?

Clearly man management and coaching are the issues.

Van Dijk in particular was already getting a lot of attention for exceptional performances while playing in an average team, so he didn't really improve that much, its more the fact he's playing with better players now.

That being said, I do think Ole is out of his depth and will fail at United. At the time I thought it was a mistake not to go for Poch.

True
I hardly know of any players that Klopp failed to inprove (other than Karius)
That also makes me wonder if coutinho will succeed at Bayern. Just because he worked at Klopp mesns nothing...
Still a good chance he will fail imho

Under Rodgers he showed great character. A real technician and a beautiful human being.

Nah, there's lots of players who look amazing at mid table clubs and then can't take the next step after securing transfer to a top club for one reason or another.

Can't really argue with any of that, it pretty much sums up our current problems.
