Absolutely agree. They've done an amazing job and look great. I'm actually going to put some money on them winning La Liga as soon as the transfer window ends (waiting for the Neymar deal to create hype around Barça).

It just seems to me like the squad gets worse season after season.
Sort of agree, there's no long term planning and the whole process of recruitment of players to play certain style of football restarts after every managerial appointment.

First Moyesie, who in theory was at least a poor man's Sir Alex, but he managed to completely alienate everyone by his ineptness and trying to be his own man, then Van Gaal and his "philosophy", Jose's obvious style and targeting world class players and now Solskjaer with his Brexit United outlook where only Britishness, youth and pace are allowed - all completely opposite recruitment approaches to each other.

You guys really still paying 300 of the 400k sanchez wages?

Why the fuck would you even loan him out to save 100k a week?

The deadwood cleanout is welcome but no replacements is really cutting a fine line.

Smalling is the last central defender i’d let go though other than Slabhead and maybe Lindeolf. Rather it be Rojo or Jones. Smalling is limited but what he can do he is decent to good at (actual defending and heading).

He doesnt lose that header in a million years to a midget winger last weekend like Lindeolf did for example

Every season since Sir Alex left has been a rebuilding season, it's time it finally stopped being an excuse as this isn't a bad group of players, they succeeded at their previous clubs, that's how they got the moves to United, but for one reason or another they've not been coached or utilised correctly.

This. You cant be in a "rebuilding phase" when its been 6 years and United has spent millions of dollars. The allocation of money has been poor and the transfer players in have been subpar at best. They have made poor financial decisions. I am thrilled that they have cut the excess fat and have gone primarily with youth. That has always been the united way.
