Not sure it's gonna appease anyone, it's actually a sweeter gig - get paid more than most of the team to actually not live and play football in rainy Manchester, instead enjoy Italian life.

nah man. its better to remove someone like alexis in the dressing room. then the club will find a way to get him off the books next season. the same they did with wazza who was also a high earner back then.

Not when we're so short up front, one of Martial or Rashford gets injured and it's Greenwood next in queue, also I'd genuinely rather have one legged Sanchez over Lingard with his 0 goals or assists in 2019.

its a rebuilding season. ole is getting rid of players he does not want. its also the players we dont want around as well.
there's bound to be problems, if its a striker shortage then so be it. could be good for greenwood's development. or maybe we'll grab someone in Jan window

Every season since Sir Alex left has been a rebuilding season, it's time it finally stopped being an excuse as this isn't a bad group of players, they succeeded at their previous clubs, that's how they got the moves to United, but for one reason or another they've not been coached or utilised correctly.

Redemolishing seems more fitting than rebuilding tbh...

what are you laughing at? he's still better than all your defenders (and no, I don't mean Barca this time)

The deadwood cleanout is welcome but no replacements is really cutting a fine line.

Smalling is the last central defender i’d let go though other than Slabhead and maybe Lindeolf. Rather it be Rojo or Jones. Smalling is limited but what he can do he is decent to good at (actual defending and heading).

He doesnt lose that header in a million years to a midget winger last weekend like Lindeolf did for example

Atletico are prime example this summer window how rebuilding should look like, that is if the results match the expectations and theoretical quality of the team.

Absolutely agree. They've done an amazing job and look great. I'm actually going to put some money on them winning La Liga as soon as the transfer window ends (waiting for the Neymar deal to create hype around Barça).

It just seems to me like the squad gets worse season after season.
