First PL win for Palace vs Man utd, another good performance - scouse muppet.

Presuming a team performed poorly in a previous game because of their performance in a subsequent game is silly. Do you have any idea how ridiculous that is?

I do indeed. Presuming it would be proper ridiculous, but considering I've watched the 2 shite performances in a row, I'm just gonna bask. :D

We already established you didn’t watch the game against Wolves, though.

Wolves game was fine performance wise. This was a shit performance by everyone except James

Then again the Chelski game was a massive papering over cracks. I think even with the signings United have thinner depth than last season which is bizarre

ref was a complete disgrace but we should still be beating palace.

Rashford was a little too eager and forceful to show he should be the one taking penalties.
Still confident he is preferable to Pogba in that role tho.

Major decisions not gone United’s way again - ref review of Crystal Palace at Home

39' Gary Cahil fouls Martial and a yellow card is given when a clear and obvious goal scoring opportunity is present. Surely a red card?! - https://streamable.com/ysjdb

54' Martial is taken down in the penalty area, nothing given, this is a clear penalty. - https://streamable.com/9qvdq

70' Dan James is booked for simulation, although in the replays you can clearly see there is contact. Should've been a free kick to United. - https://streamable.com/ifj33

shouldn’t need those calls to win at home but yeah.. that ref was shameful. a man without honor or merit. 2nd and 3rd clips are laughable because var wasn’t even bothered with it seems

2nd one is why i dont blame players for going down when being fouled even somewhat. martial fights to get a shot off while being horse-collared down and gains nothing from it

3rd one is as bad as the david silva non-call today. apparently getting kicked by the opponent is your own fault

Harry Kane https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/cvb4eb/var_rules_no_penalty_for_harry_kane_vs_newcastle/

Silva https://www.reddit.com/r/MCFC/comments/cv95m6/how_is_this_not_a_penalty_i_have_to_admit_im_not/

They hide behind the 'clear and obvious error' ruling to protect the referee, even though not awarding a penalty when it is one is a clear and obvious error.

They have some stupid rule where the VAR team has to factor in what the referee might have been thinking when they made the call, then decide if it's a clear error or if the referee is justified in getting it wrong... Then they have to uphold the incorrect decision if the referee's mistake wasn't egregious enough.

Why not just let the VAR team review each incident on its own merit, with slow motion replay and multiple camera angles, then let the referee know what to award. Is it that hard?
