None of the premier league clubs can realistically fight P$g/Barca/Real, even juve when it comes to pulling power, let alone Liverpool.
They only sign youngsters/gamble on players. And don't get me with the "its the club policy" when its clear as daylight Neymar/Mbappe or any other top10 players would giggle at the idea of being red.
Go back a few years in SAF times, hardly think anyone would directly pass on a move to United.
while i don't even entirely disagree with that, it's not what your other post suggested. look at the framing, you were not talking about neymar or mbappé, but about 'half decent players', 'proper football', and 'pulling power' - and if you want to deny that for a back to back champions league finalist, and most definitely one of the top 5 teams in world football right now, you're clearly deluded.
yes, you might be able to raise the bar to ridiculous standards in order to exclude them in terms of certain categories, but that neither disproves liverpool's current relevance, nor the validity of jenjen's reply to your initial post, that's all i'm saying. suggesting a club is 'dead' just because they probably couldn't sign mbappé is just stupid imo...
