The guy was super lucky. Luckier than Ancelotti at milan vs psv in 04 or 05 or what year it was. Luckier than Zidane in Madrid with the Bayern/Juve tie (*cough refs).

It's only normal to run out of luck eventually and get exposed. Still think he's a better manager than Mourinho for Utd tho. You can't really conquer the world playing Fred and Andreas Pareira, Young and the likes of 20kg overweight Shaw.

Lucky or not, when he took over it completely changed the team's dynamic. The dressing room felt like a team again, and victories were coming, bringing stability, calm and confidence... and that's usually the foundation you need to begin to play better and dominate games.

Odd that they are debating whether it should have been pogba or hazard when its Sterling and Mane that are taking his spot on the wing, and silva is the worst player on the team.
