good for hertha but i really feel for paderborn and especially freiburg...

the three poorest teams in terms of performances atm are clearly schalke (by far), hamburg and hertha imo...

Any chance Di Matteo will remain coach? Haven't heard a single positive thing about his adventure in germany.

it's about high time horst heldt retires or gets sacked. terrible decisions / signings / politics...
and di matteo is just a slightly below average manager imo. a club as rich as schalke should do better and imo di matteo should be fired too, sure...

he was shit for chelski aswell.

Got dominated at home by barca, leo missed peno, chances wasted. parked the bus.
Away, parked the bus, lucky to go through.

Got lucky again vs bayern by parking the bus.

Imo his CL win is not due to his outstanding tactician skills but picking on avb work and simply motivating the team.

But this year they were great vs madrid and the previos schalke coach was even worse ^^

He doesn't bring the playstyle a top tier coach would bring thats for sure.

I can't say much since I dont follow schalke that much at all but I feel they need to have a wipe in the board+ players.

fun fact: augsburg, who finished 5th this season in bundesliga, which qualified them for europa league, are the team with the 2nd lowest budget in germany's top league... respect!

another fun fact: alex meier, this season's top scorer (with just 19 goals!) has only played 26 bundesliga matches. that's the least amount of matches a top scorer played since the 08/09 season (where wolfsburg's grafite scored incredible 28 goals in just 25 matches).

and another one (for mill): kevin de bruyne directly assisted 21 goals this season which is an all time bundesliga record.

i watched them a little
di matteo is an absolutely horrible coach, schalke got worse with every game
that half ass, non emotional defense "tactic" backfired as hard as possible and is the direct opposite of what this teams stands for
this one of a kind cl victory with shitloads of luck made many believe that he is actually good

fender was right about heldt, when we discussed the player suspensions
shocking managing, second place in terms of squad bugdet and so many mediocre players....

both paderborn and freiburg had many good games and lots of bad luck, but in the end they were missing that quality to bring a lead home (freiburg) or to score from huge chances (paderborn)
joke team hamburg has another chance to stay in the league......

the final of the second league will start in 5 minutes
really hope that st. pauli will stay up, them and maybe hsv relegated would be a disaster for the football in northern germany
also it would have impact on amateur level, my best friends team will advance a league further, but only if they make it ^^
