It's time for Eto'o to take a wage cut and go back to Mallorca, get them back in la liga and then retire; perfect way to end his career.

I agree B)

He shouldn't just retire after this year though, he should still be able to perform decently for a couple more years.

Well yeah, I just want to see him go back to Mallorca and finish his career in dignity and not at some club for the money.

I'm sure he'll come back at some point, but not this year. If we had promoted then it would be different, but right now he's still too good for Segunda and he'll probably want to enjoy a higher level of football while he still can.

I wonder how much of a pay cut he would take to play for Mallorca (both in segunda as in first division)

someone that goes to Anzi at like 29 when he could play for any club shows what sort of player he is. He will go wherever they pay him the most. That's why he went to Chelsea even though he was previously quoted as saying he'd rather sell groundnuts in his village than play for them.

Compared to what he earns now, he'd pretty much have to play for free

Mallorca's board said they didn't want to sign anyone who's wages would be over 300k€ per season.

In Primera they'd obviously offer much higher wages though.

Confirmed: ‪#‎LFC‬ have today completed the signing of Italy international Mario Balotelli from AC Milan. The 24-year-old has penned a long-term deal with #LFC and becomes the club’s ninth new recruit of the summer. Bet you wish Arsenal signed him instead of Wenger persisting with Sanogo. Don't try telling me that Arsenal have had a great transfer window, admit you were wrong. Even if you can't admit you were wrong about Balotelli having 1 assist
