It's official that we have signed the young RB Manquillo from Atletico on a loan deal with a buyout clause.
He will probably only be backup so it is pretty awesome that we got him on a loan deal so he can be tested if he is worth the price before spending big but unfortunately it is just another transfer to add to the depth.

I'd prefer to get a right back with a bit more experience to be honest. Why can't we just get a 6"2 right back like ivanovic that is a defender first, attacker second

Because Rodgers' playstyle is not parking the bus as Mourinho does it, but having offensive wingbacks that contribute in the offence, but I agree that we should have someone a bit stronger in the defence than Johnson.
