lukaku really is the last player you should mention here my friend
he has literally zero support

Rooney had no support at times and poured in clutch goals for a few years.
RvP was a one man army in 2012/13 with an aged supporting class.

Again i really like Lukaku I just think he misses that ‘kill the game off now mentality’. He’s in his prime and Prime RvP or Rooney don’t miss that chance today. Actually i dont miss that chance and i have two left feet.

i am rather sure that i would have scored that one as well, but reducing that game to one scene where you didnt score at 0:0 is a bit easy

not to mention that it was a big mistake and not even a chance created by united

of course, but its momentum that can shift easily. even chicharito buried these critical chances.

in a team that clearly needs someone to step up and win games its tough not being sure your main expensive striker has a high chance to bury good opportunities

True, it was the same against Brighton when he missed a couple of easy chances.

Had we scored first in either game we would've won, but for a team with so much attacking talent on paper, we really don't score nowhere near enough.

nobody in that team is confident right now and especially strikers need their teammates to create enough chances

the previous 2 games vs lester and brighton were just poor and uninspiring. like a throwback to lvg days.
the spurs game was actually ok but losing is never acceptable. i have lost count on the amount of goals we have conceded from set pieces.
tree, smalling, pogs, romelu , matic , bailly etc all tall and physically imposing players and yet we cannot defend corners wtf.
