overall kagawa by far the better player! i don't see one aspect of the game where marin is superior! he is completely overrated imo. he can be a hell of a dribbler if he's in a good mood but in terms of vision, passing and especially finishing kagawa is miles ahead!

quite frankly i'd be really surprised if marin manages to make it into chelseas starting xi...
about as surprised as i was when i heard they signed him. he was somewhat decent 3-4 years ago but i did not expect him to be in the focus of a big foreign club...

he's excellent bench material, great for certain games

if he was more consistent and had made better decisions on the pitch he'd be a hell of a player

chelsea, really... what can you say? i mean... paying 10 mio. for bench material? why not sign a cheap young promising player for that role?
and marin is also disappointing. settle for a nice contract and a warm place on chelsea's bench? has he no fight left in him? he's only 23! i really hope he proves me wrong but at this very moment it certainly looks like it...

Unfortunately, I see it this way too.

Ihad a lot of hopes in him, but he hasn't progressed as I expected, and he doesn't seem to have that extra spark of ambition needed for a player to step up. It's a shame really, kinda reminds me of Ryan Babel, he looked like he could become world class and he got totally stuck.
