well, it's not entirely unreasonable to expect city (clear favourites ofc) and also liverpool to finish above them. there shouldn't be too much disagreement on those two, right?

then we still have chelsea and tottenham battling for a top 4 finish against united, both with considerably better starts and better chemistry, at least as of now (sorry arsenal fans, i just don't see it happening this year). obviously the season is still young and given the roster united have, given the money they spent over the last couple of years, they should most definitely make the top 4, but 'comfortably'?

Chelsea don't have a striker that scores enough goals and their defence is shite. I'm sticking with my opinion that Chelsea won't make the top 4.

those are fair points. in addition to that, i'm also not a big fan of sarri, so i wouldn't be too shocked if your prediction holds up and they don't make the top 4.
but still, united seem like the bigger mess atm, so maybe take advantage of the odds if you're so certain...

Utd are 11/10 to finish in the top 4 - WTF?!

Surely they'll be comfortably top 4...
Lose to Spurs on Monday and we're potentially 6 points behind 4th, already playing catch up 3 games into the season.

I was thinking of sticking £200 on it but I'd have to wait until May for my money, losing nearly 2% to inflation and sterling becoming a joac currency

Jose Mourinho’s side were embarrassed by Brighton at the weekend but that did not stop Manchester United‘s share price reaching an all-time high the following day.

Sunday’s 3-2 defeat on the south coast has thrown United under the spotlight, from the future of their manager to the happiness of record-signing Paul Pogba and effectiveness of background operations.

But such issues have not impacted the company as a whole, with the club’s share price reaching an all-time high on Monday.

United were trading at a record 24.20 US dollars (£18.75) on the New York Stock Exchange, with the share price at 23.10 dollars (£17.90) by close on Tuesday.

It means the club’s market value is around £3billion, with United set to enjoy revenues of half a billion pounds for the third successive year.

The fiscal 2018 results are expected to be announced in September, with the club having said that revenue was expected to be between £575million and £585million in their third quarter results.

United set record revenues of £581.2m in 2017, having made £515.3m in 2016.

Shame we can't perform half as good on the pitch.

After watching Cardiff play I somewhat doubt these stats and we scored 4 goals so far which is well above average in the league.
