young for sure. shaw was somewhat shaky in one or two scenes, but by the standard united set today that still might count as 'half decent'. pogba was extremely underwhelming though, he lost so many possessions with stupid dribblings and horrible passes.

suicidal first half.
then lost every 50/50 ball in the 2nd. not helped by the ref blowing every single challenge against us.
eric and victor will be axed next game bring on the english center back pairing.

Surely they'll be comfortably top 4...

well, it's not entirely unreasonable to expect city (clear favourites ofc) and also liverpool to finish above them. there shouldn't be too much disagreement on those two, right?

then we still have chelsea and tottenham battling for a top 4 finish against united, both with considerably better starts and better chemistry, at least as of now (sorry arsenal fans, i just don't see it happening this year). obviously the season is still young and given the roster united have, given the money they spent over the last couple of years, they should most definitely make the top 4, but 'comfortably'?

it all depends on how long it takes until the inevitable mourinho nuclear meltdown happens

if this toxic atmosphere lingers around for too long a top 4 finish will certainly be in danger
