Dude, he wants to play in England and no one else wants him except for us.
£12.8m is very acceptable offer for an unproven player.

this is only your very biased united fan opinion, you're entitled to it and i accept it but my opinion is that he's worth more and since united is allowed to make even more debts, why not pay a couple of millions more to a german club? they have to fulfil such strict financial requirements, so don't be such cheapskates and help bundesliga to raise to your level. it benefits you too - you'll be able to buy "proven" players... a well known fact that he has only 1 year left in his contract.

some facts you seem to overlook:

- dortmund is in a financially comfortable situation, they don't have to sell him at all costs
- look at his performance this year. he was one of dortmunds most important players, leading them to bundesliga and cup titles. they've got a champions league season to play and they want to prove themselves in europe. a player of his talent and abilities would always be a nice addition to the team. who says that isn't worth 15 mio.?
- united is not the only club interested.

i think dortmund will settle for ~20 mio. maybe even less but considering what english clubs pay for players like torres, carroll, henderson, lukaku and downing there is no reason to complain about dortmund wanting to be paid what he's actually worth...

I still think it's better to sell him now for 15-18 and buy a couple of promising players, than keep him against his will and get nothing next summer

they've got Reus now, it's not like they are going to go downhill if they sell Kagawa

that's not my concern. they have bought the player they need to replace him and it's not like the team will collapse when they sell him. i think he'd be even easier to replace than nuri sahin but still...
i don't see why they should sell him for so much less just because of the circumstances... we'll see, my guess is ~ 19 mio. €

Dude, let's face it - £20m is way too much.
And we can't spend to much as we're also buying Hazard, Baines and a striker b)

i'm not even talking about £, i'm talking about €! 20 mio. € (that's 16 mio. £) would be a fair price imo...

It's still too much then.
£14m is an absolute maximum.

that's only ~ 17,5 mio. €... i don't hope it but dortmund may settle for that, would be a hell of a bargain for you... cheapskates!

Dude, why are you so confident he's gonna do so well?
Also, who would you say is a better player, Kagawa or Marin?

i'm so confident because i've seen him play in many matches. he's not just in good form he's just overall an outstanding player. always composed, an incredible first touch - you should have seen him play in the winter when the pitches were rough or slippery or hard as concrete - didn't affect him at all, the ball seemed to be glued to his boots. his passes are deadly and when he wants he takes on three men and goes for the finish...

overall kagawa by far the better player! i don't see one aspect of the game where marin is superior! he is completely overrated imo. he can be a hell of a dribbler if he's in a good mood but in terms of vision, passing and especially finishing kagawa is miles ahead!
