Teams are made up of players bought over a number of years, so the transfers done in a single summer aren't the best metric to determine who should be winning what. Spend should be measured over a 3-5 year period ideally, to gauge how much has been spent on the squad.

Overall I agree, which is why I'm of the opinion that this season is make or break for Kloppo. Community shield and 2nd place in the league though, really? :lol:
