I don't understand this at all, in the unlikely event of De Gea being injured we still have Romero and even if both of them by some miraculous chance are unavailable, there's always someone from the youth team.

Much better to have the extra depth than rely on someone from the (2nd division) youth team to start important games for a top club.

Nah, he's loving it here, he said he's planning to see out his contract which doesn't run out until 2022.

He gets on very well with Jose as well, who appreciates his professionalism and reliability when called into action.

it is frustrating how none of the 3 left-sided forwards (Alexis Rashford Martial) cannot play on the right a la Mbappe

Sanchez used to be a right winger iirc. Rashford needs to play as a striker imo.

Sanchez apparently demanded to be promised he will be played on the left before signing :wacko:
