well, i agree with tuchel in picking sokratis over subotic for the defensive / aggressive role in the cb pair. i would not mind him playing both though. yes, bartra's passing is superior but it doesn't have hummel's quality and his lack of speed / physicality is always a threat to dortmund's goal imo. dortmund's defensive mid options (weigl / rode / castro / sahin) are all better passers anyway.

still, great to have subotic back - even with tuchel's cb philosophy, for when sokratis is not available...

Subotic for me never was the guy he was in 13/14 after that injury. On the ball hes nonexistant and off the ball he commits way too many mistakes so i go with tukel on this one => doesnt deserve to be 1st choice
