Real football isnt just football where you shoot more and win. Draws and losing are a part of the game too. So is defense. So is strategy.

Bringing this sort of criticism up right after a draw or loss and ignoring the success is reactionary garbage.

Leicester City have 110 fewer shots than Man United this season in the PL.
Are they not playing real football?
Man Utd have allowed the fewest goals in the league, but have scored as much as arsenal and more than chelsea.How is their football any more real?

Yes it would be great if we could run through every team no matter how good they are and no matter where its played, and never have a bad game.
That option isn't on the table right now.

This '3rd rate' spanish team has a better home record than Real Madrid, but are weaker in away games.
I would much rather we play intelligently with what we have than throw caution to the wind to appease naysayers.
Losing to sevilla wouldn't do us any good. Now we have a better chance to advance with a win in the 2nd leg.
