only go into var when there is a big discrepancy. else there would be stoppages every 5mins in a match. this is just bs.

that scene resulted in a goal, didnt it? so the game was stopped anyway and no one talks about offside scenes when nothing happens

For offside there aren't two opinions, either its onside or offside. Hence considered a clear error under VAR. Tho even close offside calls should/will be overturned, get used to it.

First of all, why var for that? so every run from any attacking player that results in a goal = straight to var?
2) Clear and obvious error. mata's knee clearly offside? or was it his shin or feet?
