Fuuuuuuck, if PSV would have played decent pressing football 90 minutes we would be comfortably at 6 points right now. They are still young but I hate when they just give goals away. Then there is the case of the first penalty wich never was one since the CSKA player almost hit the ground before Zoet even went near him. Damn it!

true that. and let's be honest here, that was a correct penalty for agüero no doubt about that but when you consider that gladbach should have gotten two that were just as clear when they were 1:0 up... i still can't believe it... how can you be that "unlucky"?

Let's say it directly : Refs do help the big boys. If they don't award two otherwise legit pelanties for gladbach, barely anyone complains, if they don't award a foul for shittty, whole Engrish land goes mad, all papers start their bullshit campaing to pressure the refs even further.

OFC there are teams that get favorable decisions by default, like Rael madrid, where ronaldo has to ask for a pelanty and is given one. But there i suspect plain bribery.

German teams (apart from Bayern) all failing to secure some deserved points

3x1:2 losses after a lead, there's definitely a lot of cleverness missing

Having a big name like Barcelona, ManU or City seems to help in that aspect

Also about Thorgan Hazard:

He's not a starter for Gladbach, never was

German teams are almost always the "better" teams. That is not meant ironic. And after a loss you hear

thats undeserved!

and i can understand it. But that's just the way it goes if you play like most german teams do.

they are not known for defending a 1-0 over the time. They are known to win with 2-3 goals advantage and offensive football.

imo they have a narrow-minded philosophi in football. if they actually could defend a 1-0, then there would be much more european success (not talking about bayern)

But this would include to to respect defending - to appreciate that defending is the most essential part in football. They need to be more open-minded for defending, also the media and the fans.

they just need more variability and cleverness.

i mean, look at schmidt. what he did was fucking not clever. Why bringing Kiessling and Brandt if you lead 1-0? Ok, you can bring them, but then stop playing this offensive-pressing, just defend with 11 men in the own box.

and that's imo why the leverkusen-loss p.e. is well deserved, sorry. when you are dumb enough to defend a 1-0, it is always deserved
