To say juventus played like shit todays is a HUGE, HUGE understatement.
Diego and Melo overrated? The first one would be a mistake. He can deliver the goods, he has shown that ever since he was in Porto, but it seems like delivering in the big stage and in a top tier league is a bit too much for him. At least in a juve jersey 'cause his exploits with Werder and Porto in the Europa league and in the cl were one of the reasons he was bought, Secco and almost every juve fan I know thought the was the spark we needed to get back.... oh how wrong we were...
Melo? I don't know, I'd rather wait after christmas break so the guy can freshen up his legs. If after that he is still playing like shit, well, I'll lose my faith in him, but atm, despite being overrated or not, he's worthy of a starting eleven position, which perhaps is saying a lot about the team in general, we'll see after christmas...
One might argue that Marchisio should take Melo's position and partner up with Sissoko since let's face it,those two; barring Chiellini (Oh dear, how would have thought a team like Juve could end up being so dependant on a CB like you...); are our best players. Team plays like shit? Sissoko is 9 out of 10 times at least a 7, and Marchisio was our only bright spot tonight, but not as a CDM but as a winger. Therefore, Melo is the only one capable of still playing like half shit when players like Poulsen are around...
I've said it thousands of times, Ciro Ferrara, although an amazing player, is an inexperienced, and at most, mediocre coach. As pathetic as it is, the person above who stated that Ranieri is better than Ferrara as a coach, not onlt speaks the truth, but also shows why we won't even be able to compete in the Europa League...
Well, after a 1-4 slaughter at the hands of Bayern, let's hope for a draw against Bari...
