Of course you are critical when it comes to Götze, but objectively he has been one of the few BVB players who has constantly played well even during their last games.
He's on a very good way back to his old self and he is involved in creating very decent opportunities each game. Was also one of the best vs. Schalke 04.
It's okay ot be crititcal imo, but only as long as you are objective enough to acknowledge a player having a good game as well.

well, i have seen some stuff and he has okay moments at times only to go invisible for 20 minutes after that
and when i hear the game commentators trying to praise him for a 5 meter pass or winning a free kick.....sorry but a guy who cant do that has chosen the wrong sport

i would call that okay-solid, thats the best words i can find, but we can both agree that dortmund has not spent that money for an "okay" player
when all players are fit götze wont be even near the best starting XI, if he does not lose another few kilograms and steps up massively

people should stop treating him like a 17yo talent

I agree with what you write - but you shouldn't try to argue with ampoo regarding Götze ;)
I'd say most BVB fans are actually happy with the development of Götze since he joined
Obviously he's not arrived at peak yet but from what I see he has 1-2 worldclass scenes in nearly every game these days - going into dribblings again etc. - things he didn't do at bayern for quite some time

give him this season to gain confidence and get back to old strength - I'm fairly positive he'll rock next season
