as a croatian i'm telling you that lovren is crap, he played ok for a small team like southampton where entire team helps defense, he'll struggle in liverpool who plays attacking football and needs good defenders to cover at the back.. while in lyon he was apsolute disaster..

I'm a pretty big fan of Lavezzi. Would not mind him coming here, but also don't see him leaving PSG.

Or Lucas, I think PSG is going to have to sell some of their players to fund any more of their transfers since they have that 49 mill pound transfer limit.

Hopefully, if he comes, he'll be a lot better. Rodgers is really good at getting the players to step it up a notch.

Also, does anyone know much about Markovic? Any Serbians / Benfica / Primeira Liga followers out there?

maybe, but i don't think he has the quality to play for a team like liverpool.. it would be better for him to be best defender in southampton than the worst defender in liverpool

Liverpool Football Club today issued the following statement in relation to the future of Luis Suarez.

Liverpool FC confirms that Luis Suarez will be leaving the club after a transfer agreement was reached with FC Barcelona. The player now has permission to complete the usual formalities, which will then conclude the transfer.

We would like to thank Luis for his contribution and the role he played in helping bring Champions League football back to Anfield.

Everyone at Liverpool Football Club wishes Luis and his family well for the future.



A shame we wont be able to admire Suarez in the prem anymore
