playing conservatively @ the top teams is not really a bad strategy. we've gotten several draws that way.
sucks to say it, but its obvious we weren't primed to dominate them in these away games

The problem with United is that they don't have Drogba. I laugh when people say Lukaku is/will be/can be better than Drogba. Like no, 4 goals against last place teams don't mean shit.

when the team improves and gets healthier the elite away wins will come

yeah win every game against all the best teams while playing recklessly. what a great game plan. you guys have it all figured out.
why didnt anyone else think of this?

you do realise you can play somewhat offensive football without being reckless? as if parking the bus is the only alternative for a team worth hundreds of millions

some people would say that playing as defensively is reckless since you always have that risk that some ball might go through

united needed some luck and de gea magic to get away with a 0:0 vs liverpool, great plan
against chelsea one ball goes through and you are like "oh shit maybe we should have gone for a goal ourselves"

Bitch please, Drogba scored a goal once every 16 games...

Nice strawman argument. Utd haven't won a big game in the season yet, I'm not saying they should win against ALL the big teams, just that they should be more creative and go for the win more. If they actually set up offensively against Liverpool they probably could have won it.

Sometime over the last couple of years there's been a dramatic shift in Jose's management mentality - he's become utterly terrified of losing, especially against the stronger teams, he'd rather play for a draw with an outside chance of grabbing a lucky goal, which doesn't even work anymore, than risk a likely defeat and attack.
