Shaqiri is definitely a great talent.

But the issue is, can he adapt to the Premier League? I'd rather Lallana for that very reason. Sure he's only had one good season in this league, and we definitely want to avoid an Andy Carroll situation, but with Adam, we've got a player that looks like he can fit into the style we play, and has shown that he can cut it in the league. He's been called to the World Cup, and is still relatively young and just hitting his prime.

More or less a younger version of Robben. Imo he wouldn't have any problem to adapt, he's very strong physically and is very week.
I'm sad he certainly leaves bayern but if he can get more play time and be happy, I'd understand.

To be on the greedy side then, why not both!? :P I've only seen him play a handful of times and quite like him.

Extra games, could do with more options. Especially when we hit a very congested time with lots of fixtures, it would be better to have more players that are fresh.

i've been watching shaqiri since his early days with basel as he is our "swiss pride".
he didn't/couldn't show everything he can do with bayern but his motviation and energy levels are really high. and hes tough for his size with good skills. i'd love him to join a premier league club and actually get some game time.
good at standards too, as a playmaker or as a winger.

Lallana signed for LFC in the region of £23m. Thoughts?

Personally I think it's expensive for a player that has only had 1 really good season in the premiership.

However he will fit into the team very well. He is English so has played with Sturridge Sterling Gerrard etc, has Premier League experience, is 26 years old so getting into his prime and is the type of player Brendan Rodgers develops very well.
