Kepa is really promising. Not worth 80M€ yet, but could definitely be worth that amount in a couple of seasons. He's probably ready to play for a club like Chelsea, it will be interesting to see how he does.

although i've never seen him play, i'm already quite excited and happy with it, just judging by what i read: he's a young (21) left back who already has plenty of experience in la liga (for espanyol) and in the extremely competitive spanish youth national teams, for which he also played.
his loan fee is pretty hefty at €3 M, but ofc we have a buyout clause to sign him for an additional fee of €6 M. although that would be quite a big transfer for us, it seems warranted - we made plenty of money selling diallo, serdar, and muto, and our left back position lacks quality (bussmann really isn't that strong).
any other spaniards' input is appreciated as well ofc...

If you had asked me about him last season, I'd have said this was a good deal, as he had some really nice performances and looked really promising. He has been very inconsistent and underwhelming this year though... although tbf, so have the rest of Espanyol players. Could be a good signing if he gets back on track.
