Heard a rumor about Lakuku for 80 mio euros, treated as a joke.

One could only think of the great British Empire times when people like him arrived in england by ships & for free.

80 mio

apparently, this was how it went

june 27th
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11835/10930157/florentino-perez-has-not-spoken-to-manchester-united-over-alvaro-morata

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that his club has not held talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Alvaro Morata.

"I believe we are not negotiating with Manchester United, which does not mean that there are not people around him who are talking, which is normal," Perez told El Primer Palo radio.

The prez himself came out and said nothing is going on with united.
personally, i had been wondering why would woody wanna do any deal with RM especially after that fax machine joke with david.
Had also been wondering what the hell is with the delay on the signings? Morata, perisic etc etc

6th july

Pretty much explains itself.

So lukaku has always been the #1 replacement for Zlatan. And woody did all the work while fooling everyone else. Including even the more reliable people like sky and bbc.

gotta admit, we paying a world class fee for a player thats 1 or 2 levels away from being world class. whether he can take that extra level remains to be seen.
