United have finished outside CL spots here and there since SAF retired. And we can still spend 150m every year and overpay for every player whoever the manager of the day requires.
And we do this without even coming close to running afoul with FFP.
Your crub spends 50-60m euros which is 30-40m pounds on average in summer & winter window combined. That is the entire budget everton is spending on pickford.
And your crub does all that playing in a one team league.
