Liverpool signs some second rate players with what little money they have to spare.

Leicester signed some japanese ninja from germany.

Cech moves to Arsenal.

Sergio Ramos tells Real he wants Manchester United move - reports

Spain international defender Sergio Ramos has told Real Madrid that he wants to leave the club for Manchester United this summer, according to a Guardian report.

The 29-year-old has been informed by the Spanish giants of a €40 million offer from Old Trafford Club, and Sky Sports is reporting they are the Real No. 4's desired destination in light of interest from Manchester City.

ESPN FC reported earlier Monday that United have no desire to go above €40 million for the player.

Real Madrid have reportedly demanded £65 million for Ramos -- which would break the British transfer record United paid them for Angel Di Maria (£59.7 million) last summer.

The former Sevilla defender's contract expires in 2017 and talks about an extension have broken down.

But despite the fact that Real rejected United's first offer and while manager Louis van Gaal has around £150 million to spend this summer, the English club do not want to be held to ransom.

Even at €40 million, Ramos could, depending upon the fluctuating pound-euro exchange rate, become the costliest defender in United's history, replacing Rio Ferdinand, who cost £30 million when he was signed as a 23-year-old from Leeds in 2002.

Ramos has won the World Cup and two European Championships with Spain plus the Champions League and three La Liga titles with Real

Thanks :P I got a mid 2:1 overall, so I'm pretty pleased. Applying for graduate jobs and an MA in economics at uni of Manchester as a fallback option if I can't get a job :D

Everyone was saying Firmino is amazing, but who has really seen him play? Brazilians are hit or miss - you either get a Coutinho or a Robinho. I think Clyne is definitely a good signing though.

I'm not afraid of Arsenal even if they get Vidal as well as Cech. I've got a bad bad feeling that Man Utd are gonna make some huge signing like Bale, and then we'll all get screwed over
