you know, think about griezmann what you will, but i absolutely loved his performance today:

- he did a LOT of defensive work, often times tracking players back to france's box and applying a lot of pressure
- his fk was pure class
- he displayed confidence and responsibility taking the penalty
- he showed maturity, tactical understanding, and a clear head towards the end of the game, telling hernandez to stay back to not expose france's defence
- when mbappé (understandably ofc) couldn't contain his excitement and made some unnecessary backheel flicks and going for ill advised one on ones that lead to possession losses, griezmann made some some cool headed and smart plays keeping possession rather than going for flashy moves he's certainly capable of pulling off as well
