I don't know much about the guy, but he's looking like a class player. He's able to play as deep lying playmaker and wide but he's classic 10. Would be a good signing, especially for free - if the things won't work out he has pretty big resale value.

Arsenal are also very interested and Wenger has said he is on their list. From what I've read, his preferance is the White side of north London, not the red, but depends on if we agree personal terms.

I expect us to make a deal for him now so we get a free in the next window.

If we can secure Holtby, big bonus for the club. Id almost be tempted to pay a small fee to secure in Jan but, will help alot to securing a top 4 place. Small price to pay really, in reality if you qualify for champions league you get that money back anyway :/
