He's a promising striker, but because the young talent Oulare is playing for Club behind De Sutter there has been next to no room for him in the team.
His finishing is definatly his best quality, along with his freekicks. He's not that fast and is not the best dribbler, but he can finish when needed and he scores important goals.

He already scored 11 goals this season but like I said, belgian players like De Sutter and Oulare start ahead of him, Club Bruges is in amazing form so there is no reason to change that

i see. he's gonna have his medical tomorrow so i guess it'll be official by wednesday... anyway, a possible transfer (i'm convinced we don't sign a player just on a 6 months loan without a buy-out clause) only makes sense if we're seriously considering to sell okazaki.
so overall, for me it's actually bad news...

still, what you're saying sounds good. a real finisher, someone who's aggressive and straightforward is exactly the kind of player we need up front so i hope he will be able to adjust to bundesliga level quickly since okazaki will be returning with a (hopefully not too bad) thigh injury from the asia cup...

I'd be surprised if Club allowed a transfer fee in the loan deal, he is still only 21 and they did pay 3m (I think) for him. It would be unlogical for a belgian club to let him go that easly

well i guess we're gonna see about that because i'm REALLY convinced our manager, who is (ok, coming from a fan that might not be the most reliable opinion but still) one of the smartest in the league, wouldn't just loan out a young striker with no experience in the league whatsoever to "strengthen" the squad just for the remainder of the season - especially since okazaki's injury doesn't look THAT bad and considering we DO still have some other options. that'd be a bad and shortsighted move imo...

Curious to see how it turns out, if he does have a transfer fee it must be 2m+ I think

well, 2 - 4 mio. is certainly not impossible, even for such a small club as mainz is - depending on how he performs obviously and on what happens with shinji. okazaki still has a contract until 2016 so we'd definitely get a nice fee there, pretty sure we wouldn't sell him for much less than 10 mio...
but yeah, will be interesting to see, not only how the player will do here but also about the manager's work in the background, hehe...

About to sign Adam Forshaw from Wigan for £2m-£2.5m which should be a good deal for us :D Considering he only just signed for them in the summer for £4m, but not featuring in the new managers plans gets us a cut price deal... Liking it :D

Hopefully he turns out well as is 23, and has a lot to learn, but time to do it :D
