RIP Joan Morro AlbertĂ, RCD Mallorca's all time top scorer (in all divisions and cups).

He played for Mallorca in the 1940's before the club was any good, spending 7 years in the third level. After that he "betrayed us" by moving to local rivals Atlético Baleares (where he became a club legend and later president of the club)... however it's understandable as they were much better than us at the time and they were playing a division above with the goal of promoting to Primera some day, so he is still respected by Mallorca fans since he did a lot for us and set that record that still stands today.

Laurent Ciman has left Standard after many years at the club.

He had received offers from all over the world, many including big pay cheques. However he has chosen for the canadian club Montreal. Reason for that is because of his daughter, she sufferes from a severe cause of autism and Montreal offers a high class care for people with autism, something we don't have here in Belgium.

This guy is loved by everyone and we wish him the best in Canada!

damn, hope for the best for him and his daughter

I remember Mijatovic left Madrid for Fiorentina for similar reasons, one of his kids had a rare disease and he chose to play for Fiorentina because it was the best club he could find that was near a place were they could offer him the treatment he needed.

She'll be fine with the treatment they have over there, it's amazing how many offers Ciman has declined purely for that reason.
