So a central and a right back.

Liverpool are looking to gazump Newcastle and Napoli in the race to sign Udinese's Emmanuel Badu, with the versatile Ghanian set to cost around £7 million.

It's really interesting to see what kind of transfers Liverpool are going to make this summer, there is no doubt that the depth has to be invested in badly but hopefully it won't ruin the chemistry in the team.

I also look forward to see whether they are going to improve the best 11 or just the bench.

/edit, Ross Barkley would be a class transfer, what a player he is.. but obviously the price tag for him will be insane since he is playing at our rivals

For those of you that don't know, yesterday marked the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster where 96 Liverpool fans were killed while attending an FA Cup semi-final match against Nottingham Forest.

The incident was blamed on the fans, but the fault was the police authorities for being negligent. Since the incident, the families of those that lost loved ones were desperate for an explanation of what happened but the authorities would not release the information.

Since the incident, they have been fighting for justice, and new inquests are finally being released.

Yesterday at Anfield, they held a memorial service.

[B]Brendan Rodgers' address:

It's fantastic that in times like this, the football community unites and pays tribute to those that lost their lives. Gestures like Giroud's goal celebration yesterday, or the fans of Borussia Dortmund playing a rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone before their cup game against Wolfsburg are great examples.

RIP to those that lost their lives 25 years ago.

You'll Never Walk Alone.

If Liverpool are gonna let it slip now, they only have themselves to blame. Historic chance to win that first Premier League title.
