For those of you that don't know, yesterday marked the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster where 96 Liverpool fans were killed while attending an FA Cup semi-final match against Nottingham Forest.
The incident was blamed on the fans, but the fault was the police authorities for being negligent. Since the incident, the families of those that lost loved ones were desperate for an explanation of what happened but the authorities would not release the information.
Since the incident, they have been fighting for justice, and new inquests are finally being released.
Yesterday at Anfield, they held a memorial service.

It's fantastic that in times like this, the football community unites and pays tribute to those that lost their lives. Gestures like Giroud's goal celebration yesterday, or the fans of Borussia Dortmund playing a rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone before their cup game against Wolfsburg are great examples.
RIP to those that lost their lives 25 years ago.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
