Why? He clearly has the ability to take that on first time, he made good enough contact it was just right at the keeper unfortunately

I'd say embarrassing, but it's the exact same slow side to side front to back build up play against Slovakia.

He is a totally different player with Tottenham. They're set up allows Kane to clean up in front of the net.

England on the other hand, under the direction of this clown Hodgson, have no real shape or style of play. So flat, no movement, too individualistic. Can't play to Kane's strengths. Sturridge isn't a wide player. Sterling cannot take on a man. Rooney, as much as I hate him, has been somewhat decent compared to the rest, although, disappointing with some of his balls into the box.

higher % chance to score if its on the ground, volleys look cool but they hardly go in
