Mallorca will be playing home against Valladolid tomorrow. It won't be an easy game, since Valladolid relegated from Primera last may and so have one of the strongest squads in Segunda (they are currently 3rd), but we need to win to keep climbing so we have to go for it!
In other news, we've signed striker Xisco Jiménez on loan from Córdoba ( he has also played for Deportivo and Newcastle in the past). It's good that we've found a decent striker that will play for us for free until june, there's a problem regarding his past though that we're not too happy about... Xisco supports Atlético Baleares, Mallorca's historical rival. Most of us Mallorca supporters don't really care about Atlético Baleares since the last time they were playing in the same level as Mallorca was over 3 decades ago, but they do still care about us and well Xisco would always celebrate goals against us as if he won the CL final, and even said that there was nothing more special for him than scoring against us.
Now he's saying he's happy to play in the city he was born, and that it will be an honour to play for Mallorca...
