We did Newcastle 1-0 today 2 wins 1 draw from last 3 games is good. Need to do some shopping in January, Schluup and Mahrez going to Africa Cup too so going to need fillers for them. Worrying since they have undoubtedly been our best 2 players this season.

2-0 Final score, but I feel you on the ACON... We have Ryan Fredericks out with injury, Muzzy Carayol coming back from injury but will be on light duties as it was his ACL last year... Will be interesting but we have a good academy we can turn to, and plenty of cover in midfield in general

Mallorca 2 - 0 Albacete

The first half was absolutely horrible and we were awfully lucky not to concede any goals. We massively improved in the second half though, 2 quick goals and then we solidly dominated the game.

It's good that we started the year with a win, the next fixtures aren't going to be easy but we need to win them aswell if we want to figt for promotion again.

Thomas Kalas (Played with Koln this season) is due to be returned to Chelsea, and loaned to Middlesbrough. Was at the game with the rest of the Middlesbrough players, in the training kit.

Also a rather interesting turn is that if Thorgan Hazard doesn't get sold, he is going to be loaned to Middlesbrough also, so that they can try and showcase his talent, and develop the player

Was saying in the MCFC thread, that apparently we are looking at a deal for Hazard, if he doesn't leave on a permanant deal... Jose wants to recall him and get him in the mix over at Boro. Kenneth Omeruo has said he loves it so much at the Boro that he wants to stay here after his loan deal finishes, and is hinting towards us buying him at the end of the season (If we get promoted that is) Which is great news

Mallorca will be playing away against Girona today. Girona is 4th placed, however their home record is pretty bad as they have got more away points than home points so far. On other news, Mallorca's website announced yesterday that Utz Claassen (owner of 45% of the club) has bought Serra Ferrer's shares (49%), so he now has 94% of the club. So, basicly he now has complete control. I don't trust Classen because he's a shady guy that has had legal problems in the past, but the good side is that at least now someone in the club will be able to make decisions and there will be stability.

I'm saying that Karpin's job is still on the line because Classen has never liked Karpin and he always wanted another coach, so let's see what happens.

Now all that's left is to hope the Classen era works out well.

1-0 Leicester. One of our best performances this season imo. Could have scored 3 or 4 easily and they never looked like getting a goal.
