somewhat big name and apparently (judging by his world cup performances) he hasn't lost his quality in china, but i'm still somewhat puzzled - that signing doesn't make much sense to me:

dortmund has plenty of quality in central midfield: dahoud, delaney (just signed), weigl, sahin, rode... some of them would surely have to go (rode ideally and maybe sahin too).
given witsel's transfer and club history, he surely won't be playing for peanuts, and i'd be shocked if his transfer fee will be below € 20M. also, at 29 years of age, he's not exactly a 'talent' anymore...

imo they should have saved the money and went all-in on a bid for a quality striker. they clearly still have to sign one.

Afaik they would ship Weigl out.

where to? that would be incredibly stupid, weigl is by far the best of the bunch, at least in a more holding role. i'm sure his somewhat poor last season (due to injury & chaotic management) has impacted his market value as well, so it wouldn't even make sense from a financial standpoint to sell him now...
they should get rid of rode and sahin if they are really so desperate to sign witsel for whatever reason. i'm wondering if that's actually favre asking for those transfers, or their management confusing reality and video game again...

No idea where to, but I've seen it go around a few times now.

bayern takes the option until 2020 and vidal joins inter on loan until 2019--->reported buy out between 20 and 30 million

its reported that inter has to do it like this to avoid violating financial fair play rules
just a cheap trick if you ask me
