It's not wrong to call, the hand made the ball deflect.

Hand ball rule is about intentions. Reason why if ur arm is right against your body and the ball touches it, it's often not called a foul.

could say the same about ter stegen. and he actually made a reflex save not a reaction. but you wouldn't know the difference...

anyway, both teams lucky / unlucky and overall a deserved result...
You're so bias towards Ter Stegen, there's just no point discussing it with you, Heinrich.

the consequence is irrelevant bro, that is not the rules

the only decision the ref has to make is whether it is deliberate or not

and no1 in the world saw that as deliberate

It isn't when you can take advantage out of it. He clearly took advantage from that deflection so it's the right call to make

have to agree. that's what the rule says. however, you could argue (and that's one of the ref guidelines, it's not in the rule book) the way he positioned his hand was unnatural and gave him an advantage. then disallowing the goal would be ok. overall a 50 / 50 decision imo...

bro thats not the rule
there is no 'advantage' in the rule

if it is deliberate = free kick, if not = no free kick
what happens to the ball as a result is irrelevant

wow here i found this for u guys to read up on

bro u are adding in the 'advantage' bit to the rule
neymars 'intention' (which is in the rule) is to head the ball cleanly - not head it onto his hand to gain an advantage
it is the wrong call 100%

100s of other accidental non intentional handballs resulted in goals or advantages and were not called fouls because of the rule itself. I'm not arguing if the handball helped him or not. The rule itself, is clear and you can go read it over and over if you want :)

And I'm totally ok wit the call itself. I'm just stating the rules in the Fifa book.
