if it is deliberate = free kick, if not = no free kick
what happens to the ball as a result is irrelevant

have to agree. that's what the rule says. however, you could argue (and that's one of the ref guidelines, it's not in the rule book) the way he positioned his hand was unnatural and gave him an advantage. then disallowing the goal would be ok. overall a 50 / 50 decision imo...

neymars 'intention' (which is in the rule) is to head the ball cleanly - not head it onto his hand to gain an advantage
