If it's up to me, I'd play just like Liverpool with Wayne interchanging positions with Sturridge like he normally does with Suarez.

In the 4231 system rather have Sterling or Wilshere or Lallana as no 10 and Wayne cutting inside from the left.

If you have Wayne cutting off the wing, then Barkley in the middle would be the best way to play. Sterling and Lallana (rotated per game/during the game) on the right, and also both can play centre or left if needed.

I am not worried about our midfield this time around. It is the crappy RB situation we have, with needing to play Johnson, and Strikers. I am another who doesn't rate Welbeck at international level. Leaving us really with Lambert and Sturridge, who are only recently starting to shine, and still inexperienced in the England setup.

Agree on the most part, but would put Jagielka in the centre of defence with Cahill, and would have Sturridge over Lambert any day, but maybe take Henderson off later in the match for Lambert and switch to a 442 to vary it about a little (depending how the match was going)
