That's the thing. When u don't anticipate that in time, attackers usually outrun the defenders even when u have space advantage. It's just the way this game is made. It takes a defensive player time to react and accelerate.

its fucked up mate! I switch the play from 1 side to the other and instead of switching to my winger the striker runs for it..

sorry ill just run another 20 yards over there to get the ball even though its bounced right past another player!
