Well it's fun when your team is in the competition I guess. But if it's not, it becomes irrelevant.

Maybe if they added more teams, it would become more fun to watch and more of a "world" competition.

Well, yeah, I meant it from the fans pov, but then again several european teams and countries have denied participating in both of these events in the past.

You have to win Champs league to classify to the fcwc, yet it's useless.
I totally agree then that the Champs league is totally useless if that is the case.

1 useless team that eliminated all the other useless teams in Europe, as Mr.Mill says, representing Europe.
The same goes for the rest of the world.

I don't think that's what he meant... the FCWC and confed cup are regarded in Europe as minor tournaments. It's not just because they play against weaker clubs; the UEFA Supercup, just like the national supercups in each country, are also minor trophies no one really cares about. In fact the only time national supercups aren't seen as much more than a preseason warm up is when you get a derby, a clásico or some other game with a big rivalry that can spice it up... other than that it's a random cup.

the club world cup may have not the same attention from european fans as other continents do, but saying its irrelevant its nonsense. Its not about the cup or the prize itself, its about enshrine to be the best team of all. Its not easy at all to be in that cup, being there they dont play to lose.
