It's not an excuse, it's a fact that europeans don't give a rat's ass about Confed cup and fcwc. It doesn't matter who plays in the starting XI, everyone knows that both of these competitions only exist for the money.

Still fun to watch and all, but no one really cares if they don't win it.

I say the same stuff every time my team loses too. It's ok to accept losing to an inferior team where the entire clubs salary is < than that of 1 player on the European team.
So what are they doing on the pitch exactly? Running after the ball I assume.

I'm not saying this "because my team lost", I've seen my team win more fcwc's (well, Intercontinetal Cups to be more precise) than I've seen them lose them. It doen't change the fact I never cared for the competition.

As for the Confed Cup, I've said the competition was insignificant way before Spain lost it. I was more upset about not winning the U20 WC tbh...

Players don't care about losing a competitive match, I understand.

Can't call the fcwc competitive, it's a usseles tournament with a usseles prize.

Where useless team beat useless teams. I can live with that.

Now I beg to differ on this. You guy's might say it's insignificant and all but a lot of you guy's are here posting and celebrating when the King Fahd's cup or FCWC is on. But when said European team loses, it's where the European fan's start talking trash on how they don't give a shit about those cup's.
