Bamford has been slowly adapting to his game, and has started to be a really good player for us. One of the biggest problems with him is that he feels that he is better than he really is. He is good, but he didn't even want to go on loan because he thought he could work his way in to the Chelsea first team. Omeruo is a revalation... Absolutely unbelievable, and I severely hope that if we can come up this season, we can get him on loan for a third successive season, because he has been an absolute legend at the back. The defensive partnership that he has gained with Daniel Ayala and Ben Gibson has been amazing, which has benefited all 3 players. They have such chemistry and if there was any possibility, he would be the first player that I would have Middlesbrough buoy if we ever had the money. He loves being here too!

Omeruo was good at the world cup aswell.

Both are growing well, Bamford just needs a reality check and see that he needs to prove himself

Mallorca will be playing home against Alcorcón today.

Alcorcón is in the middle of the table atm (they'll probably closer to the top than the bottom), meanwhile we're on a roll and optimism is high but, unlike in previous games where we've done well, Marco Asensio won't be available for us.

You guys probably won't remember, but last year, when we played against Recreativo, I posted this:

Hopefully we will get to see Marco Asensio play with the first squad for the first time. He's 17 and our biggest prospect; he has been performing really, really well with the B team so there's quite some hype around him atm... would be interesting to see what he can do when playing with the big boys.

Marco Asensio played the last 10 minutes, and he did really well. The team pushed a lot more with him on the field and he gave an insane assist which our striker Víctor blew (as usual -_- ). This has been the positive surprise of the day...  hope he gets more play time in the following weeks because if he can consistently play at this level then he will become a great addition to the team.

Well, 1 year later he has become the best player in the squad. He has been carrying us and is the main reason we have began to win our games along with Kasim (a CB promoted from the B team, he has improved our defens massively and the 5 games he partenered with Bigas in the center of the defense line have ended in a win for us and only 2 goals conceded in total). Now he's unavailable because he's playing with Spain's U19 squad (and apparently he's doing really well there aswell, as he scored and gave an assist to lead the team to a 2-0 win over Germany U19).

Hope we can keep our form even without Marco and we can win our 6th in a row!

Always nice to see young players become the main focus on the team

KV.Woluwe-Zaventem 0 - 3 Oud-Heverlee

A convincing win against second last placed team, we are 5 points clear from the first place now.

Mallorca 1 -1 Alcorcón

All was going well until a player from Alcorcón scored a perfect freekick to equalize the score right before the half time. We had dominated the first half easily, but the second half was pretty bad. Both teams spent the ast 45 minutes fouling each other, it was pretty bad to watch, and it's surprising that only 2 players got sent off.

Yay, football again at the back end of the week! Now that the internationals are over!

Well, looks like our defender Ben Gibson got injured on international duty, but Omeruo seems to be ok after getting a knock for Nigeria. Hoping that they dont qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations though...

Mallorca is about to play away against Tenerife.

Tenerife is currentlly in the relegation zone, although their goal is to finish in the middle of the table. They promoted from the 3rd level 2 seasons ago, and they want to grow their way back to Primera in the following years.

Travelling to the Canary Isands is always annoying and winning there isn't usually an easy task, but let's hope my boys can get their 6th win in 7 games. Marco Asensio is back B)
