And if he has changed (which I doubt), I'm not sure that would be a good thing. He has achieved succes by shaping the clubs he worked for in whichever ways he deemed necessary; if he doesn't do that then he will be turning away from the philosophy that made him a succesful manager (also the only philosophy he has any experience in following as a manager), making his signing pointless.
We'll see, he's at a stage of his career where he'd like to finally settle down for a bit longer than 2-3 years.
The way he manages his team is sustainable long term, providing he doesn't fall out with the players, he should be fine if he's allowed to bring his own players rather than some sort of DoF or transfer committee making transfers for him.
