this has nothing to do with the inter-barca tie

Wont get into that again. I knew the players had to travel by bus, they could have been tired, dizy or whatever.
I know there were at least 3 favorable ref decisions in that 3-1 in Italy.

Don't care. Inter won it, gz to them.

Still vs Pep Mourinho has a shitty record. Basically was embarassed every single time as madrid coach. Won a cup

Things wont change next year.

Facts :
[x] barcelona had to travel by bus due to volcano eruption thing.
[x] Every team he has coached was destroyed right after his dismissal. He can't last more than 3 years coaching a team so kiss your long term plans goodbye. Utd post-mou is almost guaranteed to be far inferior to present day.

When did i ever write anything about Mourinho being a long term thing?

why is that table you posted showing the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons and comparing who won Spanish domestic trophies? how could Mourinho win la liga or copa del rey or spanish supercup when he was managing in Italy those two years

Comparing types in terms of playing philosophies and how to set up your team tactically during the course of the season, is way different than comparing coaches in term of longevity, continuity and influence in day-to-day operations at clubs.

Considering the similarities in the last 10 years of Sir Alexs tenure as a United manager, and those of Mourinho, where you see them scoring bunch of goals in the first half of the season, only for it to decrease of the final stretch of the season, it's obvious how they both tend to get cautions when it gets into crunch time.

Just look at the numbers of Sir Alexs final season at United - In the first 19 games of the Premier League, United scored an average of 2,52 goals per game, in the final 19 games, they scored a total of 38 goals (2,0 goals per game).
In Mourinhos champion campaign with Chelsea last time around, they scored 2,15 goals per game in the first 19, and then decreased to scoring 1,93 per game in the final stretch.

Lesser numbers, but striking similarities, which exactly was my point of both of them being a bit more "loose" during the first half of the season, only to tighten up and make sure the organization is in place during the final - "crucial" - months, which is what i was trying to put into perspective of how both managers set up their teams in the knock out stages against big oppositions.

I disagree. SAF used wingers and crosses (as of late, early day he had wide midfielders in giggs & Becks) and always played attacking football (while solid at the back - mainly due to rio's solid displays and the rock solid vidic)

Mourinho puts a back four shilded most of the times by 2 defensive midfielders and his wide attacking players are sometimes occupying the fullback's position. His 2005 chelski was all counters, his madrid was pretty much a counter team, even at inter he deployed the same tactics.

So i beg to differs. He'll park it at Old Trafford too, making as that guy used to say, even more boring than LVG.
