Arsenal is still a bigger club, with as good if not better players on paper. It's just atletico is Simeone. He gets so much out of his players

I agree that Simeone gets a lot out of his players, but I don't think Atlético has worse players on paper. Oblak is probably the world's best keeper atm, all of their defenders are better than Arsenal's (except in the RB position, where it's just Juanfran feeling very comfortable in Cholo's system), midfield is debatable as players like Gabi or Augusto probably wouldn't shine in other teams as much while others like Koke would probably be class in any team and easily start for Arsenal, and in attack they both need a better striker (although Atlético still wins here imo as Griezmann is class, and Torres is in excellent form atm).

It's not like 2 seasons ago, people can't say Atlético doesn't have great players anymore. Probably only Madrid, Barça, Bayern and PSG have a significantly better squad if we individually compare the players h2h.

Atletico have godin-Felipe Luis and griezmann who are world class. Oblak this season also world class, and Koke good. 5 players, but definitely is put together well by the coach.
Torres struggled at Milan for goodness sake...

Oblak was amazing for Benfica 2 years ago, and began doing really well for Atlético as soon as Moyá was injured and he was given consistent playtime (Moyá, who had been great until his injury, never had the chance of taking his spot back).

About Torres, I said he's in amazing form atm (notce the words "form" and "atm"), but I also said that Atlético needs a better striker (just like Arsenal).

It's not just 5 good players, they have a bunch of talented youngsters like Giménez, Saúl, etc. They aren't world class imo (at least not yet), but they are already good enough to play in most teams.
