I agree, but I know the complaint will be that it slows down the game and a lot of old school people won't accept VAR. I for one am open to it as it helps provide the correct decision. Give each team 2 chances to contest a call, sort of like football. We need to clean our game up. Issue cards for people swarming a ref after a call, issue a yellow for a dive, and maybe a red if it's in the box. If a man goes down clutching himself like he's been shot he needs to be removed from the field and evaluated while play goes on.
yea well this is 2018. I'll take 1000 games where they added 8 minutes compared to games where wrong calls decided the outcome and teams are unfairly robbed from their well deserve wins and whatnot.
They can also improve the efficiency of the system. Instead of having the ref run out of the field to check a screen. they can have other officials in a room just tell him what call should be quickly. With the 100 different angles and speeds of camera view, they can easily make the correct call in like 25 seconds after the play happened.
