:D i wish we had that game against sunderland now, 65 points would look so good right now.

a top 3 spot would be perfect, a title.. well we are allowed to dream.. maybe we will get some luck :)

3 points is great, but lets talk tactics briefly:

The key to that game was the diamond formation with Sterling as the most advanced, pressuring Fellaini and making sure he couldn't get forward as then Sterling would have acres of space to run into with the ball.

However the most important thing for me was Joe Allen, he is overlooked by fans because he doesn't have the pace of Sturridge or the trickery of Coutinho. But his passing accuracy is as good as anyone's and he started this game, and the game at Southampton ahead of Coutinho.

Allen was also pivotal in the Swansea game when he came on. I think next season could be his season, like Henderson this season.

lets just hope he doesn't make any bad formation calls like the first half of the season, he seems to be getting them right now though!

Simple.. A world class Dm, right back fook Johnson and possibly a winger then call up one or two players out on loan to cover for striker injuries!! Or just Ronaldo will do! I'd even be happy selling dagger and buying a new centre back... 60m!

I was thinking a class DM as well.. get gerrard up more but tbh he has played very well there this year. Right back is a must as johnson is far past his best. I wish we could snag someone with the quality of yaya toure or something close. As for a new CB, there just doesn't seem to be many options out there that would be much better than agger that we could afford. I guess we shall see!

I could name quite a few if you want, to replace agger. I've noticed lately he's been pretty poor at tracking his man, and he's always somewhat injured.. passionate about our club, but we could get a decent sum for him and replace him with better quality with a few options. We really could do some damage in this window as we have the strikers covered, a potentially great player in sterling and stevie g!

Any psg/french league fans here able to shed some light on why sakho was being benched so much at psg, as i really rate the guy
