he was subbed in towards the end of the match and immediately had positive impact for gladbach. had a good chance but our goalkeeper made an even better save and he also assisted another good chance for gladbach iirc. quality player really...

Hope he really gets to play more often, very talented player

Mallorca won their first game of the season today (was about time!!!). A 2-0 win against Alavés, which are expected to struggle in the fight against relegation.

It was a bad game, but we were better than them so it's a deserved win. Surprisingly we got a clean sheet, but to be fair our defense was barely tested today.

We're still last placed, but whatever, we finally won a game... we really needed these 3 points.

On a side note, yesterday it was revealed why the agreement Cerdá and Serra had to sell their 55% of the club to the third party ownership group thingy is frozen. Cerdá (owner of 6% of the shares and president of the club) demands immunity and wants the new owners to sign a declaration by which they say Cerdá has no legal responsability of anything that went on in the club during his presidency. There are documents that proove this.

This is ridiculous ffs, I don't even want to imagine what kind of shit he has hidden in the drawers of his office...

OHL lost vs Lommel away 3-1, dissapointing defeat and Eupen could go to the first spot now.

YAY! REAL FOOTBALL TIME!

Play against Brighton on Saturday... Really looking forward to seeing if we can keep our run of good form. Was speaking to an ex player yesterday who works where I study (Neil Maddison). The Boro youth team study at my college etc, and we both agreed that 2-1 to Middlesbrough would be the most likely result, but maybe 3-1 ;)

Oh and if you see a player or ex player... SELFIE!

EDIT: end of an 11 hour day at college... Very tired and look like shit at this point xD Engineering is hard!

Mallorca will be playing away against UE Llagostera tomorrow.

Llagostera has spent the vast majority of their history in the deepest catacombs of the spanish football pyramid. In the late 90s they were playing in the 9th level, and 5 years ago they were celebrating their first ever promotion to the 4th level. It should also be noted that their town (Llagostera), with apopulation of 8k people, is the smallest to ever have a team in the top 2 levels of spanish football. Their stadium is still regional-tier worthy, so they have to play their home games in a neighbouring city.

It's really, really crazy to see them all the way up in Segunda. They promoted last season after winning their group, where all the leading teams were awfully inconsistent and there was a lot of shifting in the top positions; they took the lead in the last week of the season.

And apparently they don't have amazingly rich owners, they've just been doing a really good job.

Obviously, they have by far the lowest budget in the league and they are expected to relegate.... however they've been doing well so far and are currently 1 point above the relegation zone.

We have lost all their away games so far, but I hope we can finally break the streak and win our second consecutive game of the season.

OHL tied 1-1 at home VS Virton.

We are in pretty bad form right now, but Virton is a good team so nothing to worry about just yet.

2-1 win away to Brighton :)

This puts us third in the league! Got 2 more hard away games to play on Tuesday vs Wolves and Saturday vs Watford, but confident :)

The bookies have AGAIN improved our odds, and have us tipped as second favourites to win the league, only behind Norwich :) Hope the momentum doesn't die, and we keep consistent!

Barnet Football Club, also known as The Bees, took all the three points in an away game against Gateshead today.
It was a very important match for us and happily we took lead fast and also secure it by leading 2-0 in '7 min through Weston and Villa goals; we managed to keep the result until end and conceal a great win.
It's been a good season and we hope that we can keep the lead until the end and promote to "League Two". Pretty sure it will be a hell of a fight but we will struggle for every point and do our best to stay on top.

Conference Premier and the Championship are easily 2 of the hardest leagues to get promoted from! Always a surprise around the corner! I wish you as much luck as I with the mighty Boro!
